Hello, my name is Amelia Bellomy. This year I will be teaching Life Science for 7th grade and Physical Science 8th grade.

Life Science is a survey course touching all the major areas of life science.  It emphasizes areas that are particularly important to Christian philosophy.  Students will develop critical thinking skills, and apply the scientific method when they study the foundations of life science, heredity and the origins of life, concepts in microbiology and plant biology, the animal kingdom, and the environment. 

Physical Science is a laboratory course designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of Chemistry and Physics from a Christian worldview.  Students will develop critical thinking skills, and apply the scientific method when they study the building blocks of Chemistry, basic Chemical reactions, motion, forces, energy, work, machines, power, thermal energy, waves, sound, the electromagnetic spectrum, light, magnetism, electromagnetism, electric charges, current, and electricity.
