Box Tops for Education

We've begun our 2003-2004 campaign to collect funds from the Box Tops for Education program. There are 3 ways to raise funds for Village Christian Academy.

1) Clip: box tops and vouchers from many everyday products such as Betty Crocker and General Mills. the program has also added 6 new brand names bearing the Box Tops for Education (BTFE) coupons: Pillsbury, Totino's, Green Giant, Progresso, Old El Paso and Gold Medal. We hope to collect over 14,000 box tops this year, only 25 per student. This would raise $2100 for our school.

2) Shop: The Box Tops for Education web site has gathered over 150 vendors to their site for online shopping. All of these vouchers have agreed to donate a portion of their sales through the BTFE website back to our participating school. You must register at the boxtopsforeducation.com website and link your name to the Village Christian Academy in order to credit our school with your purchases. The BTFE site only provides links to the vendors you may otherwise use anyway. Vendors include barnesandnoble.com, dellcomputers.com, gap.com, and many others. Shop the web and earn money for VCA.

3) Charge: The BTFE site also offers a credit card that will offer a percentage back to your participating school based on the card purchases. You may apply for this card at boxtopsforeducation.com.

Our first box tops collection will be October 20th. Please send all collected tops to school and your child's teacher will pass them on to Mrs. Crawford, our box tops coordinator. The class which collects the most box tops for each collection (per student) will receive an incentive prize.

Thanks to Village Baptist Preschool and the members of Village Baptist Church who are collecting box tops for our effort. We certainly appreciate their contributions.
