The PTO at Village Christian Academy exists to encourage and strengthen
cooperation and fellowship among school parents and teachers. It provides
a framework in which both can find a mutual understanding of student
problems and special needs through dialogue and special speakers. In
addition it is the vehicle for our major fund-raising events, including
our Golf-a-thon, Village Christmas Tour of Homes, and the Spring Fling and
Silent Auction. It also compiles our student/family directory for a $15.00
charge, available at Open House in August.
Parent participation is vital in Christian education as we seek
consistency, alignment with the scripture, and mutual encouragement. All
parents are encouraged to actively support the PTO and perhaps become a
room mom or dad. Please register at all PTO meetings so we can get an
accurate account of your support.
